- being deemed medically fit as per the Bank’s requirements.

Note:
As previously said, each test will have its own timing.
- Except for the General English test, written examination questions will be set in 13 regional languages, including Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu, in addition to English and Hindi.
- In the Objective tests, incorrect answers will result in negative marks. For each incorrect answer, a quarter of the mark awarded to the question will be deducted.
- Candidates must obtain a minimum percentage mark on aggregate (a 5% relaxation is granted for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwBD candidates). The Bank shall determine the minimum qualifying marks on an aggregate basis. Individual subjects have no minimum qualifying marks.

Local Language Exam
The states’ selected local languages are listed in Paragraph A of the advertisement. Candidates seeking training positions in a certain state must be fluent (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in any of the specified local languages of that state, as listed in Para A of the advertisement. A test for knowledge of the selected preferred local language will be performed as part of the selection procedure. It will take place after the online written examination is completed. Those who fail this test will not be hired as apprentices. Candidates who provide a tenth or twelfth-grade mark sheet/certificate indicating knowledge of the stated preferred local language will be exempt from the language test. Candidates must appear at their own expense for the specified selected local language test at a center (to be determined by the Bank) of the State sought. The SBI will neither pay or bear any travel expenses incurred by the candidate in order to attend the specified test.
