Eligibility Criteria

• Home Guard (Male):

  • Minimum educational qualification: 10th Standard pass
  • Age limit: 18 – 35 years
  • Physical Standards:
    • Height: 160 cm (5’3″)
    • Chest: 83 cm (32.7 inches)
    • Weight: 48 kg (105.8 lbs)

• Home Guard (Female):

  • Minimum educational qualification: 10th Standard pass
  • Age limit: 18 – 35 years
  • Physical Standards:
    • Height: 150 cm (4’11”)
    • Chest: 79 cm (31.1 inches)
    • Weight: 45 kg (99 lbs)

Selection Process

The selection process for Home Guards will consist of a Physical Endurance Test (PET), a Skill Test (ST), and a Written Test (WT).

• Physical Endurance Test (PET):

  • 100 meters running
  • Long jump
  • Shot put

• Skill Test (ST):

  • Basic drills and exercises
  • Handling of baton and cane
  • Fire drill

• Written Test (WT):

  • General knowledge
  • Mental ability
  • General awareness

Salary

• Home Guard (Male/Female): ₹ 26,500 – 60,700/- per month
