Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for AFCAT 1 2024, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Age Limit: 18-35 years (for Flying Branch) and 18-28 years (for Ground Duty Branch)
- Educational Qualification: For Flying Branch – Graduation with minimum 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics, For Ground Duty Branch – Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% marks
- Physical Fitness: Applicants must be physically fit to meet the IAF’s specified physical standards
Selection Process:
The selection process for AFCAT 1 2024 consists of a written test, an Air Force Aptitude Test (AFCAT), and a physical test.
- Written Test: The written test will assess your knowledge in General English, General Knowledge, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude
- AFCAT: The AFCAT will evaluate your aviation aptitude, spatial ability, and problem-solving skills
- Physical Test: The physical test will assess your physical fitness and endurance
