The Bihar Police Department has invited online applications for the recruitment of 21,391 Constable posts. The application process will be open from 20th June 2023 to 20th July 2023.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Constable posts, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of India
- Have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognized board
- Be between the age of 18 and 25 years as on 01.01.2023
- Should be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of a Constable
Application Process
Interested candidates can apply online through the official website of the Bihar Police Department. The application fee is Rs. 675 for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 180 for SC/ST candidates.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be based on the following:
- Written Test (MCQ)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Medical Examination
The written test will be of 100 marks and will be conducted in a computer-based mode. The PET will consist of three events:
- 100 meters running
- 800 meters running
- Long jump
The medical examination will be conducted to check the physical and mental fitness of the candidates.
The final selection will be made on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained in the written test, PET, and medical examination.
