How to customize your own Contact Poster in iOS 17

Contact Posters are a new feature in iOS 17 that allow you to customize the way you appear to others when you call them. You can choose to use a photo, Memoji, or monogram for your Contact Poster, and you can also customize the background and text.

To customize your own Contact Poster, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Contacts app.
  2. Tap your name at the top of the screen.
  3. Tap Contact Photo & Poster.
  4. Tap Edit.
  5. Tap Customize next to the Contact Poster you want to edit.
  6. You can customize the following elements of your Contact Poster:
    • Image: You can choose to use a photo, Memoji, or monogram for your Contact Poster.
    • Background: You can choose from a variety of background colors and gradients.
    • Text: You can customize the font, size, and color of the text on your Contact Poster.
  7. Once you are finished customizing your Contact Poster, tap Done.

Tips for customizing your Contact Poster:

  • Use a photo that you love and that represents you well.
  • If you are using a photo, crop it and adjust the brightness and contrast to get the perfect look.
  • You can also add a filter to your photo to give it a unique look.
  • If you are using a Memoji, customize its appearance to match your personality.
  • You can also add a monogram to your Contact Poster. Just choose the letters you want to use and select a font and color.
  • Experiment with different backgrounds and text colors to create a Contact Poster that is unique to you.

Here are some ideas for creative Contact Posters:

  • Use a photo of yourself doing your favorite activity.
  • Use a photo of your favorite pet or pet costume.
  • Use a photo of a landscape that you love.
  • Create a Contact Poster that matches your personal style.
