Ability
a. Candidates applying for the post of Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant must have a graduate degree from any recognized university. Also one should have knowledge of computer.
b. Candidates applying for the posts of Postman and Mail Guard must have passed 12th. Also, the candidate must have studied local language as a subject in 10th. At the same time, it is also important to have knowledge of computers. The candidate must also have a two wheeler license.
c. Candidates applying for the post of Multi Tasking Staff must have passed 10th.
Age Range
The age of the candidate applying for the post of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant/Postman/Mail Guard should be between 18 to 27 years. At the same time, the age of the candidate applying for the post of Multi Tasking Staff should be 18 to 25 years.
salary
Candidates selected for the post of Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant will get Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100 for Level 4.
Candidates selected for the posts of Postman and Mail Guard will be given salary ranging from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 under Level 3.
Candidates selected for the post of Multi Tasking Staff will be given Rs 18000 to Rs 56,900 under Level 1.
How to apply?
Applications will be submitted in online mode only at “https://dopsportsrecruitment.cept.gov.in” for both the cadres (i.e. Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, Postman, Mail Guard and Multi Tasking Staff) as well as for Postal Priority order will be given.
Application fee
Candidates applying for these posts will have to pay ₹ 100 as application fee. At the same time, women candidates, transgender candidates and Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates are exempted from payment of this fee. Fee can be paid online through UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card etc.
