Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
Age: The candidate must be between 21 and 35 years of age as on November 9, 2023.
Educational Qualification: The candidate must have a Degree in Law from a recognized University and should possess Sanad.
Work Experience: The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in the profession as a Lawyer.

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of two stages:

Written Test: The candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be called for a written test. The written test will be objective in nature and will consist of questions on General English, Legal Knowledge, and Reasoning Ability.
Interview: The candidates who qualify the written test will be called for an interview. The interview will be conducted by a panel of experts appointed by Maharashtra Police.

To apply for Maharashtra Police Law Officer Recruitment 2023, candidates need to visit the official website of Maharashtra Police Recruitment Board at mahapolice.gov.in. On the homepage, click on the “Recruitment” link and then click on the “Law Officer Recruitment 2023” link.

Click on the “Apply Online” link and register yourself on the website. Once you have registered yourself, you can log in and fill up the online application form. Be sure to upload all the required documents in the prescribed format.

After filling up the application form, pay the application fee online. The application fee for General, OBC, and EWS candidates is Rs. 1000/- and for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Women candidates is Rs. 500/-.

Once you have submitted your application form and paid the application fee, you will receive a confirmation message. Please take a print out of the confirmation message for your future reference.
