Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation / 10th Grade from a recognized board.
- In addition, candidates should possess ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Certification in the relevant trade (Fitter, Electrician, Instrumentation, Mechanical).
Example:
- If applying for JOT (Electrician), an ITI in Electrical trade is required.
2. Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 27 years (As of 01-01-2025)
- Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per government rules.
Pay Scale and Benefits
- Training Period: Selected candidates will undergo training for 12-18 months.
- Stipend during Training: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month.
- Salary after Training: Upon successful completion of training, candidates will be placed in Grade II with a starting pay of ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month.
- Additional benefits include medical facilities, insurance, and performance incentives.
Selection Process
The selection process includes:
- Written Test – Candidates will be assessed on trade-specific knowledge and general aptitude.
- Trade Test / Skill Test – A practical test to evaluate technical skills.
- Medical Examination – Final selection is subject to passing the medical test.
