South East Central Railway Recruitment – 1133 Trade Apprentice Posts – Apply Now

The South East Central Railway (SECR) has released a notification for the recruitment of 1133 Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The vacancies are available in various trades across different divisions of the SECR. The application process will be online and the last date to apply is June 22, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Trade Apprentice posts, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Be a citizen of India
• Have passed Class 10 or equivalent examination from a recognized board
• Be between the age of 15 and 24 years as on July 1, 2023
• Have passed the trade test conducted by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) in the relevant trade

Application Process

Interested candidates can apply online through the SECR website. The application process will be open from May 3, 2023 to June 22, 2023. The application fee is Rs. 100 for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 50 for SC/ST candidates.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the trade test conducted by the NCVT or SCVT. The trade test will be held in July 2023.
